From Ruhpolding to Kiev

After a hard day as well as important meeting of the Western European Founders Council members with the company management we drove straight on to Ruhpolding. Our house there is an oasis of calm and relaxation - Unfortunately, we often have to "steal" some time in order to regenerate. This time we spent short three days which we used for long walks. Then we went to the Munich airport again.
Amway Ukraine invited us to be at the festive inauguration of the new headquarters in Kiev. The new location is not just an office building, but it is also equipped with modern training and meeting rooms and a very functional pick-up center, just steps from the metro station right in the center, yet with enough parking spaces. We were very impressed and wished we had that here in Germany, too.
In Kiev it was hot and fiery, and so we were invited for a BBQ by Inna and Oleg. It was a very harmonious, happy late afternoon and evening. Whenever we are in their new home with the garden as guests, we remember how small and modest the two began, and how much this business "enriched" their lifes. Even Mark Beiderwieden, director of Amway Europe, joined the BBQ and was deeply impressed.
Of course, the Ukrainian business partners immediately took this chance to organize a one day seminar, with Mark and us as guest speakers. Despite the sweltering heat in the hall, the mood was just perfect: The foundation for the success of the coming fiscal year will be set in these summer months! Sweaty, but satisfied we got on our way back home with a cloudburst.
